Windows NT e porte USB

Ciao a tutti e un grazie anticipato per le eventuali risposte!
Il mio problema e' questo: come usare le porte USB con Windows NT 4?
Anche scaricando il service pack piu' aggiornato, alcuni mi hanno detto che e' proprio impossibile, e che bisogna passare a Windows 2000 o superiori, solo che, per motivi vari, non mi e' possibile modificare le impostazioni del computer.
Per cui vi chiedo: esiste la possibilita' di usare le porte usb sotto windows nt o mi devo rassegnare?

SUMMARY
Windows NT 4.0 does not support Universal Serial Bus (USB) host controllers. There are no plans to provide USB support in Windows NT 4.0 in a future service pack.
