Can you help me for startx?

Hello,
I can't start the command startx.

I've installed Woody - idepci with kernel 2.2

my video card is
Cirrus Logic CL-GD5428-80QC-A

The file "XFree86.0.log" presents:
(WW) The directory "/usr/lib/X11/founts/cyrillic" does not exist
Entry deleted from font path
(- -) using VT number 7
(WW) Cannot open APM
(EE) No devices detected

The command "lspci" presents:
pcilib: Cannot open /proc/bus/pci
(It does not exist!)

Can you help me?

Sono stato perfettamente inutile?

Io la vedo cosi':
idepci ha pochi driver isa!
gli manca anche clgd5428
Devo reinstallare tutto usando vanillla (mi si inchiodava)
oppure come posso aggiungere il driver mancante?
