Poi dal taskmanager (Alt+Ctrl*Canc) cerca il processo

clicca "termina processo"
Riavvia in modalità provvisoria, cerca e cancella il file
C:\WINDOWS\system32\CNAB4RPK.EXE

Ciao a tutti ragazzi sono nuovo e volevo intanto congratularmi per i vostro consigli e magari con un po di tempo aiutare a mia volta qualcuno in difficoltà, nel frattempo volevo mettere alla vostra attenzione questo log. è del mio pc e ci trovate qualcosa di strano? un saluto e grazie.

Ciao Panettone, innanzi tutto metti l’eseguibile di hijackthis in una cartella del disco fisso, né temporanea né desktop affinché il programma possa fare una copia di backup in caso di errori.
A browser chiuso e disconnesso da internet, fai girare il programma, premi “do a system scan only”, cechi le seguenti voci, metti il segno di spunta:

Rendi visibili file e cartelle nascosti (vai in start>impostazioni>pannello di controllo>opzioni cartella, e clicca su "visualizzazione". Seleziona "visualizza file e cartelle nascosti", "visualizza il contenuto delle cartelle di sistema" e deselezionate "nascondi file protetti e di sistema". Clicca su OK.)
Cerchii ed elimini, se ci sono, i seguenti file:
C:\Programmi\Bouncer\bouncer.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\nprotect32.exe
Cancella i file temporanei di windows ( windows\temp e windows\tmp), quelli di IE, cookies, svuota cestino. Disistalla da pannello di controllo, installazioni/applicazioni ciò che non hai installato tu. Posta un nuovo log di hijackthis per ulteriore controllo.

Grazie ho fatto come mi hai detto, intanto non ho trovato C:\WINDOWS\system32\nprotect32.exe....ho tolto il file bouncer.exe. ti lascio il nuovo log fatto quando ero dentro mod provv. mi dai altri consigli ?
non mi parte più bouncer.exe l'ho cancellato perchè me lo hai fatto togliere?

Calma...eppoi...calma:
Intanto grazie della celerità....non cancello mai una cosa senza poter tornare indietro....spybouncer è un prog che mi serve a stanare schifezze, ma propio oggi il mio antivir mcafee me lo ha segnalato come troyan, ecco perchè per saperne di più mi sono iscritto e chiesto pareri ma non ti preoccupare se serve al limite lo reinstallo. Adesso cosa mi dici del log che ti ho mandato?

Questa voce O23 - Service: Protected Exchange (MainService) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\nprotect32.exe (file missing) è un servizio e quindi va eliminata con questa procedura:
Spuntala con hijackhis e clicca “fix checked”
Vai in start>esegui e digita services.msc. cerca il servizio
MainService
e se è avviato, arrestalo. Clicca con il tasto destro e in "proprietà" imposta il tipo di avvio come "disabilitato"
Chiudi e apri di nuovo hijackthis, clicca su "open the misc tool section" e poi su "delete an NT service"
nel campo vuoto inserisci
MainService
e poi clicca su OK.

Sono nuovo come te e non ne ho la più pallida idea....però ho visto che la gentilezza è presente nel foro e credo anche la competenza.

Giocando ho scoporto che il servizio che lancia l'eseguibile C:\WINDOWS\system32\nprotect32.exe

Protected Exchange e non MainService. L'errore mi notifica un errore se provo a lanciarlo non me ne ero mai accorto e anche da bck vecchi di ghost (un anno e mezzo buono) il file nprotect32.exe non è presente. A questo punto il mistero si infittisce e vi pregherei di darmi una mano a risolverlo Tanto più che il servizio dovrebbe servire a Communication Protocol that uses 128-bit encryption. Non ho ben capito perchè non 'è sto file e cosa dovrebbe fare se c'è e non fa adesso che non c'è. Scusate il gioco di parole.

quello che neppure ho capito (vista la spiegazione un po' confusa) è come e quando il sistema ti chieda del file

comunque fissando questa voce:

Il sistema non mi chiede assolutamente niente....
ma nprotect32.exe viene richiamato da un servizio attualmente non attivo perchè questo file non c'è fisicamente sul pc, il servizio si chiama protect exchange.
Prova a vedere sul tuo pc, se hai xp italiano con SP2 e aggiornato a ieri sera dal sito microsoft, se esiste sto file magari puoi mandarmelo in privato lo ripristino e vediamo cosa succede.
Tornando al servizio protect exchange, dal menù dei servizi non riesco a
stopparlo mi dice che non esiste l'exe sopra mensionato....infatti non c'è allora mi chiedo il servizio tenta di partire all'avvio inutilmente, se è inutile tanto vale toglierlo e qui è scoppiato il putiferio nel senso che non c'è verso di non fare apparire nel log di hj tale voce e c'ho provato eccome.
Mah....alla fine lascio tutto così il sistema funziona...almeno apparentemente.

Il file praticamente non esiste, e lo dimostra la ricerca su Google.
Le uniche pagine in cui se ne trova traccia sono riferite a risultati di HT (e il primo riusltato è questo topic).
Il servizio a cui fai riferimento non mi risulta essere un servizio di Windows.
