prob with SCSI

Postdi vijaybhatter » 20/01/05 08:57

hi friends,
I'm trying to use my SCSI CDRW drive.
It's an external drive (Ricoh 6201), which is connected through a SCSI card (Adaptec clone).
I use the SCSI kernel (2.6.10).
'cdrecord -scanbus' doesn't recognize it.
'cat /proc/scsi/scsi' returns nothing (only one line:"Attached devices:")
Everything works ok when booting from Windows.
It seems as the SCSI card is not detected.
While in Windows, the cd properties shows that it's using bus 0, target id 2, lun 0.
How should I enable it?

Thanks,
Vijay Bhatter
