servizio fax windows xp

sto cercando di installare sul portatile il pgm per l'invio /ricezione di fax da windows
premetto che ce l'ho hia in un desktop.
non riesco perchè ad un cero punto mi chiede un file (fxscfgwz.dll) nella i386 che a quanto pare non trova
(col dischetto originale !)
qualcuno sa dirmi come posso risolvere questo problema ?
per ora lo manderò con l'altro pc ma mi piaceebbe scoprire cosa non funziona.

Il file dovrebbe esserci, ma compresso e con l'estensione modificata fxscfgwz.dl_
Se cerchi manualmente fxscfgwz* dovrebbe installarsi.
When the installation routine is unable to find the necessary installation files (even when directed to the appropriate i386 folder) it usually means that the installation files are compressed. This is often the case when the files are pre-copied by a manufacturer on the harddrive. If you do a search for the files that the installation routine claims are missing (fxsapi.dll and fxscfgwz.dll) you won't find them, but you will find fxsapi.dl_ and fxscfgwz.dl_. These are compressed DLL files and will need to be decompressed. Double click on them and you will get a prompt for the file to use to open them. Click Browse…. and select Win32 Cabinet Self-Extractor, which is in the system folder. With any luck it will uncompress them all and make them visible as DLL files. The install routine still may not find these files. If so, then you must manually direct the installation routine to the i386 folder that contains these extracted files. ...

Non esiste nemmeno la cartella i386 e ovviamente nemmeno i files zippati.
HELP !!!

facendo una ricerca su google e premendo "mi sento fortunato" trovo questo link
vai nel "Free download" e scarichi la libreria che ti manca.

Il file l'ho trovato. Nella procedura per l'installazione del fax me lo richiede nella cartella i386 e sicuramente non è l'unico file che manca, e poi cosa sono questi comandi ?

RUN DOS RUN
... non ne esco !
