Il secondo anche (63.100.208.132, le altre sono squallide bugie) e - come dici tu - OrgAbuseEmail: abuse-mail*at*wcom.com - che tanto worldcom ha altri problemi, ora come ora.

SpamPal (http://www.spampal.org.uk) o Mailwasher (cerca su Google), entrambi freeware - filtrano per IP, e funzionano - nella mia esperienza - piuttosto bene (con una messa a punto, SpamPal sta andando e-gre-gia-men-te sulla mia macchina).

Non risolve il problema - lo spam arriva comunque - diciamo che ne limita gli effetti (lo "smista", e almeno non si mescola con la posta legittima).

Vuole dire che hai beccato un letamaio di internet - una macchina che - oltre a fare open relaying per chiunque, non registra neanche l'IP di chi si è connesso. Nei fatti: una specie di proxy aperto su porta 25 - una vera manna dal cielo per gli spammers...

postmaster*at*unam.mx per chiuderlo, caso mai servisse...

c'è un aritcolo abbastanza interessante riguradante lo spam su PC-World di questo mese.

E' stata fatta un'indagine aprendo 21 account uguali su altrettanti provider free. I risultati non sono molto diversi da quelli che si respirano in questo thread.

Il vincitore è stato Hotmail (57 email di spam in 30 giorni), ma Libero si è comunque distinta per essere quella che in 30 giorni ha inviato ben 26 messaggi provenienti dal proprio ISP (per intendersi i vari Com.Info).

I dettagli dell'indagine, benchè un pò parziale a mio giudizio, sono comunque molto interessanti. si parla di blacklist, di software (che rob'è Magic Mail Monitor?), di open relay, ecc... in forma ben divulgativa.

Ultima nota, pare che lo spam diminuisca se si inserisce all'interno del proprio indirizzo la parola SPAM o la parola ABUSE

[Corretto. Vabbé che quell'indirizzo mi sta cadendo vieppiù in disuso - e poi è protetto da filtri, dato che Libero li offre gratis fino a fine anno (e infatti ieri c'erano due spam...), comunque...]

C'è qualche spammer meno scemo degli altri. Ogni tanto salta fuori un frescone che spamma indirizzi pescati sul newsgroup news.admin.net-abuse.email, oppure direttamente il newsgroup...
Non conosco Magic Mail Monitor, ma non sarebbe meglio pubblicizzare per prime le soluzioni gratuite? Ne conosco almeno 5, di cui un paio per linux...

Se si trattasse di un trojan che agisce veramente in questo modo, sembrerebbe un ottimo sistema per mandare a puttane tutto il sistema degli abuse....
