Rimozione di GLIB (le librerie di gtk) in Red Hat

Avendo bisogno del pacchetto gtk1.2.9 ho dovuto installare le glib ma erroneamente ho preso le 1.2.10 al posto delle 1.2.8.... Ho provato a reisntallarle ma a dire il vero non ne sono stato capace e credendo di risolvere ho installato anche le 1.2.8 ma quando vado a lanciare il configure di GTK questo è l'output:

Qualcuno mi può dire come risolvere? Bisognerebbe disinstallare le due lib o sbaglio? Ma come?

non sono sicuro perchè non uso red hat...ma penso che dovresti usare il comando rpm (casomai dai man rmp per vedere bene le opzioni) cmq per quello che ricordo dovresti scrivere:

rpm -e nome_pacchetto

Disintallale entrambe e poi prova a rinstallare quella che ti interessa...
